Reduces the surface tension inside of the quench tank. The water drains off the castings and no residual water is stuck even in deep holes and contours.

Application

• If the casting gets stuck in the mold, press VM 1620 onto the hot mold surface at the contact point between the mold and casting (edges) and melt it.
• The liquid wax will get between the mold surface and the casting due to the capillary forces.
• Due to the good lubricating effect, it will cause the casting to detach or the connection between the mold surface and the casting to dissolve.
